
Should I report the opening balance when finalising STP on Xero and advice the employee to ignore the "Not tax ready" (ie. one reported by MYOB shown as "Not tax ready" and one reported by Xero.ġ. I understand that when the employee view their Income Statement via their own Mygov account, it will show 2 separate lines with the same employer and ABN, but two different amounts ie. My suspicion is that since MYOB subscription has already been cancelled, I cannot just call MYOB and request them to submit the YTD finalisation.

I am trying to finalise STP in Xero and realised that the previous bookkeeper did not submit a YTD finalisation before cancelling the MYOB subscription. I have a problem with switching from MYOB to another software (Xero) partway through the year (say 31Dec20).
